Healing Light

When I was seeking inspiration for what to paint, I turned to the core of what has meaning in my life: my relationship with the Father and His Son. I thought of temples, both new and old; of covenants; of sacred moments in the home; and of daily nourishment. I reflected on the anointing oil, the olive press and the sacredness of Gethsemane. While that garden was the beginning of Jesus Christ’s Atonement and sacrifice, I felt it was not only a place of darkness, pain, and suffering (though it was certainly that), but also a place of hope, faith, and charity for all mankind. It was there that healing light was created for all—so that every soul could be touched and blessed by the love of the Almighty.

About the product

The painting was originally painted in a 5 x 8 in ratio, so all prints will be cropped a little. The 16 x 24 is the closest to the original ratio.

Premium matte paper is heavier-weight, white, and features a smooth, uncoated finish that feels luxuriously soft to the touch:
