Painted from a photograph taken on my papa’s farm in Lordsburg, New Mexico, this piece looks toward the Pyramid Mountains at sunset. I grew up watching this sky change—same land, same mountains, different light each evening. There was a calm in that rhythm, in knowing where the day would end. This painting is about that steady place and the quiet comfort of Papa's Horizon.
About the Product
The painting was originally painted in a 5 x 8 in ratio, so all prints will be cropped a little. The 16 x 24 is the closest to the original ratio.
Premium matte paper is heavier-weight, white, and features a smooth, uncoated finish that feels luxuriously soft to the touch:
